Amy Brown has an eye for beauty.
Originally from California and spending over a decade of her adult life living in Europe, Amy became intrigued by historical garden designs and architecture.
Amy made the move to New York City in 2009 and settled in Tribeca where she now has a successful landscape design business transforming barren rooftops into verdant gardens and terraces that now grace the iconic skyline of Manhattan. Her talent for using the colors and textures nature provides, quickly manifested into her passion for capturing those moments of beauty into photographs.
With a keen eye for composition and delight in the ever-changing seasons, Amy’s photographs offer a unique perspective of the quiet beauty of NYC. Her approach to photography is spontaneous. She shares, “In this city, natural beauty is everywhere if you take a moment to look. I don’t plan my photos. I strive to capture a fleeting moment that stirs something within me.”
With each photograph, Amy invites viewers to pause and appreciate their surroundings, reminding us all of the importance of slowing down and opening our eyes to hidden beauty.
